Sick of Waiting

It's unbelievable, the length some people will go to spend time with friends. We thought we would round off our 6 week furlough to the USA by visiting Brian and Alison in North Carolina. That was over a week ago. We have since been grounded by a stomach virus. It appeared in Rasmus and then moved to Lucas. On to me, and then Veronica. But it didn't stop there, no sir'ee! Little Luke Howell caught the bug, and then it jumped onto Kaleb. Brian the Iron-stomached eventually caught a small version of it, only to beat it off with some ales and other "medicinals". And last but not least, Alison, AKA Mother Therese or Florence Nightengale (If you don't know who these heroines are, get off the Xbox and go read up on some history!) caught it and still has it. So, suffice it to say, the Darby's came bearing gifts to their long-time pals from former Restenäs days.

We're waiting for news about a new flight back to Sweden. We had to cancel our original flights and wait for the doctor to confirm us "Fit to Fly". And now, I have been attempting to get in touch with Travelocity, but keep getting disconnected. We would appreciate your prayers, not only for us, but also for our wonderfully gracious hosts, the Howells. they have been the quintessential example of what hospitality is. But I just never thought they would go so far as to host our bugs too!!!

Thank you Brian, Alison, Kaleb and Luke. We've had a blast.
